Remote Control DBA realizes that everyone does not need an FTE or a 40-hour per week DBA. Most Database Managers just want to be sure that they are covered when they need it regardless of the time of day and that all of their projects are completed. We are always available 24x7. Since we work with a team approach, vacations, holidays, turnover, etc. do not impact you as a customer. Someone, including a Senior DBA if needed, is always available. We offer our services on an hourly basis for the work we do so if you only need 20 hours of support per week you only pay for 20 hours of support per week.
Additional Help When You Need ItRemote Control DBA is fully aware that many IT Departments are fortunate enough to have the quality DBAs that they need for most day-to-day operations and only need occasional assistance with crash recovery, performance diagnostics, special project support, etc. We are very capable and willing to step in at any time to assist with special projects or issues that you may have. We are happy to work either independently or in conjunction with your own DBA(s).
Turn-key Database SupportRemote Control DBA understands that many DB Managers are not prepared to define the scope of what needs to be done and what should be done in both day-to-day and long-term DB management for a system, especially when it is a brand new application. We have our own project managers, team leads and business managers at our disposal to take over complete operation of your DB. You can be as involved (or not involved) as you would like. At the very least, you receive weekly status reports.
